We need your support to get our youth to camp! We will be hosting monthly LUNCHEONS after the 10:45 a.m. service at First Baptist Church in Mission.

Please come by and see everything that God is doing at FBC!

Camp Registration Price is $160.00 per camper, BUT, the earlier you register, the more you save!!
• BEFORE 7/1/2011 = $150 per student.
• BETWEEN 7/2/2011 and 7/22/2011 = $160 per student.
• Register at the door = $180 per student.

This New Year

FBC welcomes back the youth after a restful Christmas vacation. the Lord has blessed us with a new year! this month is an important month, it is the first and we ask that everyone attends regular bible studies as well as any other events scheduled for this month. Attendance is important, all the way up to camp!

I've included this video...Why we celebrate the New Year. I borrowed it off of GodTube. We are all His children and are ALL forgiven. A new year, A new beginning. Don't let the fear of the past burden your future.

Be My Witness!

If you'd like to volunteer to give your testimony, please email us. Sharing the gospel begins with you and is validated by the word of your testimony. Here's some scriptures about being a witness, as well as witnessing:

Acts 1:1-11; faith comes by hearing, not by seeing. Listen to the Word of God. Read this scripture and understand what it is to witness the power of God.

Acts 19:13-19; remember, the name of Jesus Christ is holy!! Be careful how you use it!

Pilot-Program ;)

Let's see how this works out for us :) In addition to FB and MySpace, we will use Blogger as ANOTHER way of informing you all of upcoming events and such. This is also a place where you can ask questions that you may have or even a question that you may be too embarrassed to ask during our meeting times (bible study &/or LifeConnections).
